Whether you’re looking to clear space from an extra closet, or wishing to store valuable documents from your business, Hwy 18 Self Storage is the solution for you. What Size Unit Can I Rent?

We provide a variety of unit sizes and types based on your specific need. If you have questions regarding which size is right for you, please review our storage unit size guide to find exactly the storage space you may require.  If you have any additional questions regarding unit sizes, storage types, or prices, please don’t hesitate to contact us at.

Ok I Can Rent, But Who Else Has Access to my Storage Unit?

You can give anyone access to your storage facility, but that person must be previously authorized by you in person. We provide a unique access code for our customers to access their unit 7 days a week. We do not provide anyone access to your unit unless you have added them in-person to your access privilege list. This ensures the safety of your belongings.

Indoor Storage, Drive-Up Storage, Climate Control etc. What's The Difference?

All of our facilities offer unique storage sizes and types.  Common unit types include:

  • Indoor Storage Units: Our indoor units are one-story structures, offering less exposure to harsh elements. Indoor storage provides protection from extreme temperatures while falling just shy of the stability offered by climate control.
  • Drive-Up Storage Units: This type of unit is ideal if you want quick, easy access to your items. After entering though our secure gate using your unique access code, you can drive straight up to your unit, park, unload, and take off. Our roll-up doors make accessing your unit a breeze and save space unlike their swinging-door counterparts.  While this is often the most convenient method of storage, it offers slightly less protection from the elements than indoor and climate controlled storage. However, Drive-Up storage is easily the most popular form of storage, mostly for its quick access. Just because it doesn’t have the level of temperature control offered by other storage types doesn’t mean it’s any less secure, clean, and reliable.
  • Climate Controlled Units: Ask about our climate controlled units for more info on pricing and sizes, etc. Climate controlled units maintain a stable temperature of 55 to 80 degrees F, which mitigates damage to your most valuable possessions.

How Long Can I Rent a Unit?

Rent your unit for as long (or short) as you need!  We bill in monthly increments for our month-month leases. We prefer a 10-day notice when a tenant decides to vacate their unit.

Are My Items Insured While Being Storage At Your Facility?

Insurance for your items is not a requirement at Hwy 18 Self Storage, but keep in mind that renting a storage unit is similar to renting an apartment.  The same way your landlord doesn’t insure your personal belongings, Hwy 18 Self Storage doesn’t insure your items either. We do offer insurance plans through our facility. Please consult our facility manager about monthly premiums.

What Forms of Payment do You Accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, checks, cash and money orders.

Can I Pay Over the Phone With a Credit Card?

Yes! You can pay over the phone with a credit card or debit card. We also offer automatic withdrawal through our facility.

When is my Payment Due?

Everyone’s due date is different. Your due date is the same day of the month you moved in.  So if you moved in on the 1st of the month, your next bill will be due on the 1st of every following month.

I'm Ready to Move Out of my Unit - Do You Require Notice?

Yes. We require a 10 day notice – in writing – before your next billing date.

Do You Pro-Rate My Final Month?

As a general rule, we do not offer pro-rated billing.  However, rare exceptions can be made if you need your unit for an extra day or two and you have made arrangements in advance with our site manager.
